Re-Entry/After Care
To prepare students for a new drug free lifestyle, vocational skills are analyzed, coached, and tested prior to re-entry. The Attock Center has several vocational activities preparing students for re-entry. We assist some to find satisfactory employment, but the only hope for others for a secure financial future is self employment in a small business. To open and operate a successful small start-up business, financial assistance including post graduate vocational/business oversight is required.
This is Microenterprise Development in action.
Microenterprise Partnership:
To facilitate this need TCP has partnered with Harvest Field Corners. Together they have established a TCP Micro Loan Program. Former Attock Center Students approved by the Teen Challenge Pakistan Micro Loan Board may be eligible for a small business start up loan. This benefit includes follow-up business guidance.

Successful examples of small business start ups include tailors, small electrical appliance repair, fast food stands, plumbers, & etc. The relapse rate has been dramatically reduced when we are able to empower the graduate to be financially sustainable when he leaves our program. It restores his status in his community and provides for his joint family system.
